We breed for soundness and health to produce a puppy that is a quality
example of the breed. Our dogs are registered with AKC. We certify
through OFA for Hip dysphasia and joints. Annually have the breeders' eyes
checked.
Our sporting pups are bred to be both great family companions and
excellent upland or water hunting dogs. My husband is administrator of a
Burlington High School of Burlington, KS and I am a Special Ed teacher.
My husband hunts with his dogs and I have a hobby raising and showing
Maine Coons & Ragdolls & standard poodles. Because we raise only a few
puppies a year, we get to know the pups very well before helping match the
pup and its temperment to a family
Some of our dogs are shown and hopefully in the future we can participate
hunt test trials. We have a new yellow boy that has won a puppy class &
receive his first point towards his CH. at 10 months old. We have great
hopes for him.
