The American Kennel Club requires a dog to obtain a total of 15 points
with two major wins (a major win is worth three points or higher) to
become a champion. The majors must be won under different judges and
at least one other judge must award some of the remaining points - so you
need to win under at least three different judges.

We try to show in all 3 organizations when time allows.
Meeting people in all 3 organizations are enjoyable!!  Learning from others
with the same interest can be beneficial to have a continuing improvement
to better a breed.  We do register our adults and pups with AKC and if the
buyer would like the pup to be dual registered w/pedigrees from both
organization that can be done.
A dog must receive an average score of 81 points or better at each of 3 shows
to receive a title of
CH. from 3 judges of each showing.

To receive
Premier CH, average score of 87 points or better at each of 3 shows  
to receive a title of Premier CH. from 3 judges of each showing.

To
Excellent Par CH,average score of 90 points at each of  3 shows to receive a

Your dog must earn a minimum of 100 CH points and three wins with competition
under three different Judges to earn it's Championship title.

The requirements to earn the GRCH title is as follows: A Champion dogs must win the
Champions class a minimum of 5 times with competition (a minimum of 3 Champions
shown in this class) under 3 different judges. UKC has also expanded the way a GRCH
title is earned. A Champion dog may earn a competition win towards its GRCH title if It
wins BOB over a Grand Champion and the total number of dogs entered in the both
the Champion class and the Grand Champion class meets or exceeds the minimum 3
dog requirement.
